Trail Scouts Are Leaders

They are people who show the way for others.  Trail Scouts go in first and check out the trails.  Then they go back and encourage others to follow their lead.  Many of our Trail Scouts waited with eager anticipation for almost 10 years for the Hatfield-McCoy trails to open.  They came and enjoyed the trails in special, pre-opening events.  They  encouraged and supported the development of the trails.  When the trails finally opened, they brought their friends to show them what they had found -- nothing less than TrailsHeaven.  

Trail Scout Opportunities

There are new opportunities on the horizon to be Trail Scouts for the sKYward trails that will be opening soon in Eastern Kentucky and for a similar trail system we hope to develop in Southwestern Virginia.  These projects need supporters to help them get off the ground.  They need leaders who will come to demonstration rides and discover new trails in Kentucky and Virginia.  They need you to come and blaze the way, and then to bring your friends to show them what you have found.
